How to study and how much time to allot anesthesia is a trouble question to to many.Anesthesia is an important part in paper 2 and one compulsory 10 mark question or 5 mark sub question is expected.Hence you can't neglect it.Many students don't get rotation in anesthesia and those who get I am not sure how much they can learn in those 10-15 days.One best way to learn is observe,assist your anesthetist in O.T.during surgery,obs,ortho posting if situation permits.That will help you a lot and when you go back you just have to learn basics.While pre op fitness you can accompany them just the way you accompany your physician for medical fitness.This subject is easy to learn and master as only basics you have to learn.Hope these tips will make your preparation easy.All the best.:-).
